June 15th came & went

...and I am still standing.

So I never did get that call from a certain medical school to jump off of their waitlist. BUT I am accepted at another med school already and today I feel pretty lucky about that & I'm counting my blessings. This morning I was a little sour about it all...so I put on my colorful tank, which just makes me happy when I wear it!... but to tell the truth I was more worried about how my mom was taking it. She sent me a text from work with instructions to read
Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Then I found these awesome frames at Hobby Lobby!! And I couldn't help but smile because they were 1/2 off!! I'm going to use them to make my new room awesomely cheerful

Throwing in a lot of dog pettings, a trip to see "Land of the Lost" for free, and a mango snack...it turned out to be a pretty good day overall

Oh & I saw this wedding announcement yesterday on UTSA's front page! The couple is just so cute & its such a fun idea haha

Banana Pudding

So it's the middle of my summer & I am have completely relaxing...I am treasuring each and every moment since I know they will be my last for a VERY looong time once I start medical school (the last week of July :0)...I am loving everything and everyone!!

...like scootering! which I did for the first time ever today because I was apparently deprived as a child lol so much fun haha


And I'm especially loving this banana pudding I made!
So easy to make with only 4 items too! yum!


And since I have ample amounts of time to do nothing, I have to share some online goodies I've found!

I found this website on another blog but instantly fell in love with the pictures...Pacing the Panic Room...It's a series of maternity photos shot by the photographer dad of his wife & shows the pregnancy developing. Also, there are such cute writings to go along with it...

Summer

Woohoo!

So I just got back from our 7-state family vac-a on Saturday! We visited Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming & Colorado!! It was a blast but I'm happy to be home <3

Now that I'm back, I've been eating tons of tacos & local food...I see a lot of tacos & Conan O'Brien in my summer future. I missed tacos soo much, I can't believe that so many people live without them!! oh and breakfast tacos...oh how I <3 potoato & egg! Oh and Chipotle!
My guy & I went to Chipotle and I had these lovely tacos:


Afterwards, we hopped over to the theater and saw UP! It was such a fun, cute movie! Gotta love talkin' dogs!


Happily, I don't have anything to do these days, so I've become obsessed with browsing etsy...they have tons of cute stuff like these:





Oh yay, and as if that wasn't enough, I love watching The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien!! Check out this skit, "Noches de Pasion" haha
